Alhamdulillah, at last our horse had finally finished and sent back. Everyone is relieved but started to missing the horse. Mana tidaknya, boleh katakan lama jugak berumah kat bilik seni tu. Sampai transit kat asrama dan balik malam. Oh I'm definitely sure that most of you will be questioning, what the horse I'm talking about?
The horse statue is made from fragile fibre glass. They are 8 all together this year, sent to 8 schools in Lembah Kelang and Kuala Lumpur which participated in this competition. The big theme is "1 Malaysia" but creative participants will know how to elaborate on that lame theme, hehe. So we need to draw and sketch and colour the horse or to simplify, do a design on the horse. We, as the group of participants from SMKA Maahad Hamidiah, picked a small theme to focus on our design and that was a theme of "Futuristic". We are 10 students all together- Fatimah Ulfah, Wan Nur Baiti, Farah Nadiah, Nur Amanina, Tengku Amanina, Nur Allyana, Nur Jehaada, Azizil Alimi, Aliff Zulhaziq and Hidayat. All the girls are Form 4 while all the boys are Form 2. Have been working with the horse for about more than three weeks including searching for ideas during Raya Holiday week. In the middle of this duration, we had gone to a simple art studio owned by Pak Cik Hamir, Ulfa's uncle at Kuang, Rawang. We collected the knowledge and ideas from there and also the spirit to start our drawing on the horse's body instead of papers.
And at 1.00 p.m just now, the incharged people have taken away our horse.
